Steering Committee

Mission: Committee members are responsible for oversight of transition activities and implementation decisions, based on committee feedback and recommendations.

Planning & Governance Committee

Mission: Committee members will propose and oversee the district planning process; serve as the intermediary group forwarding recommendations from operations committees to the Steering Committee; draft and submit a response to the state’s RFP for district services; oversee and reconcile differences between operations committees; propose a governance structure for the district; and oversee consultant contracts.

Enrollment Eligibility Committee

Mission: Committee members will understand Aging and Disability Resource Centers’ (ADRC’s) role in Family Care and propose a comprehensive plan to ensure adequate ADRC infrastructure for, and interface to, the district.

MCO/Case Mgmt. Committee

Mission: Committee members will understand Family Care case management principles and propose guidelines for the district’s management of cases.

County Relations Committee

Mission: To support Family Care implementation, committee members will develop positive working relationships with Economic Support staff from the counties included in the district, and propose solutions that address issues related to Family Care’s interface with and connection to other county programs.

Infrastructure Committee

Mission: This committee is responsible for analyzing district infrastructure needs and proposing creative, cost-effective strategies to fulfill them in the areas of finance, information technology, facility and staff locations; and for providing policy guidance to its subcommittee work-product.

Quality Management Committee

Mission: Committee members will understand Family Care informal complaint and formal appeals and grievance requirements and propose measures to meet quality goals.

Stakeholder Communication Committee

Mission: Committee members will propose and help execute an outreach plan to further the district’s implementation goals, gather input and feedback from stakeholders, and help provide information to all stakeholders affected by the new district.

Provider Network Committee

Mission: Committee will develop partnerships with area providers to foster an understanding of Family Care’s philosophy and program principles, serve as a key point of communication with local providers, and propose and develop an adequate provider network to ensure service delivery throughout district.
